Friends and family are a great treasure to have! Many are the times when we often get in conflict with them but as the saying goes, blood is thicker than water. These are the people who will probably be with us in thick and thin and their importance cannot be overemphasized.
However, as former Kiambu county governor and 2022 presidential hopeful William Kabogo came to learn, sometimes it is not a good idea to keep on postponing and procrastinating sparing some time to spend with your loved ones.
Taking to social media after the loss of his loved one, Hon Kabogo disclosed a huge blunder he made. According to him, he was supposed to pay a visit to Mzee Kamumu Kabari last month only to fail to live up to his promise.
The popular politician indicated that he is greatly devastated this evening following the demise of the old patriarch wishing him eternal rest as he exits the stage.
"My sincere condolences to family and friends of Mzee Kamumu Kabari. Sad that Mzee has left us. Am devastated because I’d promised to go see him last month. Fare thee well my friend," he said.
