The August presidential election is considered to be a two horse race between Kenya Kwanza team flag bearer Deputy president William Ruto and Azimio la Umoja team.
Kenya Kwanza turbulence has hit Kakamega county as ANC and UDA party fight for Mumias East parliament seat.
ANC aspirant David Wamatsi has threatened to ditch Kenya Kwanza coalition for Azimio la Umoja after a disagreement on campaigns in Western region.
Speaking during a political rally, Wamatsi claimed that his UDA counterparts were fighting ANC gubernatorial aspirant Senator Cleophas Malala bid.
" Wakiendelea kupiga Malala vita, mimi nitaambia watu wangu twende tumuunge Raila mkono." Wamatsi has said.
The crowd later cheered saying that they were ready to support Raila Odinga's presidential bid.
Malala was named Kenya Kwanza governor aspirant in Kakamega after UDA ally Bonny Kwalwale shelved his ambitions and took senatorial bid.
Malala will be contesting against Azimio aspirant Fernandes Barasa who picked Ayub Savula as his running mate.
