Senator Cleophas Malala Speaks After IEBC suspended Kakamega gubernatorial Elections

A mistake in the production of the ballot papers led the IEBC to halt the elections for the governorships of Kakamega and Mombasa on Monday.

Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malalah responded to the same matter shortly after IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati suspended voting for the Kakamega, Mombasa, Kacheliba, and Pokot South MP seats due to candidate name and image problems on the ballot papers.

Malala stated during a news conference that the IEBC's decision to postpone the gubernatorial elections in his country is a major letdown. The commission allegedly stated that they were prepared, but the leader asserts that they are now delaying elections. However, Malala has asked his supporters to cast their ballots for Dp Ruto in the presidential election in significant numbers. Malala has added that since he will be watching over Dp Ruto's votes tomorrow, he will now be a free agent.
