Opinion: Why Mt Kenya Might Be a Bit Uncomfortable Having to Choose from Either Raila or Ruto

In Summary.

- The Mt Kenya region might be a bit uncomfortable to choose from either ODM boss Raila Amolo Odanga or the Deputy President William Samoe Ruto of the United Democratic Alliance UDA.

As the 2022 general election fast approaches, politicians are doing everything possible to see themselves in different offices come next year.

The top presidential candidate, who are the Orange Democratic Movement boss Raila Amolo Odinga and the Deputy President William Samoe Ruto have been trying to woo supports from the Mt Kenya vote-rich base.

For the last 7 years Dp Ruto has been closer to Mt Kenya region than his home county. He has more development projects in Mt Kenya region than his own backyard.

However, Mount Kenya people might be a bit uncomfortable having to choose from either Raila or Ruto.

Raila has demonstrated forgiveness before and worked with those who wronged him in the past.

Ruto carries with him bitterness and revenge forever and sees his victory as the perfect chance of revenge.

Dp Ruto, unwittingly has made Central Kenya (mountain region for that matter) the epicenter of his 2022 presidential ambition, effectively placing all his eggs in one huge basket.

He did this by lying to himself that the region was unequivocally beholden to him. The man then went ahead to commit the most fatal mistake in politics. He forgot to campaign in other regions.

Yet, we all know that politics of the Mt Kenya is never that simple.

It’s now vividly obvious that the region will make or break Ruto’s dream of occupying the top seat on the hill in 2022.

Ruto badly needs to inherit an intact mountain from President Uhuru Kenyatta. Anything less than 80 % of the mountain votes for Dp Ruto spells doom for his 2022 presidential ambitions.

Who was not in Kenya when Dp Ruto unequivocally stated that ,

“Raila cannot chase me out of ODM, then follow me to my own party, Jubilee and chase me out of it again!”

Odinga, with a simple HANDSHAKE, did not only chase Dp Ruto out of Jubilee Party: Enigma chased the son from Sugoi out of his own Gov't. As if that was not enough, he ran him out of the town too.

What will Dp Ruto tell his die-hards brigade when Tinga finally finishes chasing him out of the Mount Kenya region, by May in '22?

If you thought you are facing a rough time, kindly, spare some time and think of William Samoe Ruto being edged out of the Mount Kenya region, after camping and investing there since 2013.

Do not forget Tinga recently visited Ruto's home turf, Eldoret and was received by a sea of humanity most of them area billionaires without his consent it is so declassified.
