The Member of Parliament (MP) representing the Embakasi East Babu Owino, has come forward again to remind the government that the Hustler Fund should be given as a grant and not as a loan, insisting that President William Ruto, should stick to his promise that he made during the campaigns.
According to Owino, the President told Kenyans that he will give the money for free so that they can use it to hustle and build-up their lives. However, the the tune has now changed and the money will have to be paid back.

"Hustler Fund should be a grant not a loan. President Ruto said during his campaigns that this was to be given for free and not refunded." Said Babu.
The statements from Owino comes just a day, after the hustler fund was launched on Wednesday, November 30. Meanwhile, there are concerns that some Kenyans would not be able to access the loans due to fear of not being able to pay back.
