Kenya Kwanza May be set for a Fallout

As the deadline to name the Deputy president approaches there remains some uncertainty of what will happen afterwards. In an exclusive interview with NTV Rigathi has told Musalia to forget about the DP position and that it was reserved for the people in Mt Kenya region. ANC secretary general Simon Gikuru scoffed at Rigathi remarks saying that he is not authorized to speak on behalf of the coalition.

Close allies of Musalia Mudavadi had been pushing to settle for nothing less other than the the DP position . Cleophas Malala had told Musalia Mudavadi that he should not cry foul when short-changed and should negotiate properly for his people. Cleophas Malala has told Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi that they shoul not come out of the coalition empty-handed or with empty promises.

Will this be a ticking bomb as we approach the deadline? If William Ruto chooses to name the deputy in other areas other than the mountain there would be a possible fallout from Mt Kenya Region.Going by Malala sentiments the Mulembe nation may also feel short-changed and that Kenya Kwanza government may have left them empty-handed.
