Mountains Ready For Raila? Raila Pulls A Mammoth Crowd In Meru County

It is another new day for those who are in love with Raila Odinga to continue smiling as the opposition leader has reached a step ahead of what he could not do during the previous elections period in the country.

Comparing the crowds today and the previous elections campaign, the orange Democratic movement party leader Raila Odinga has managed to remove the Raila phobia from the minds and hearts of the mount Kenya Region leaders and residents as he looks forward to succeeding president uhuru Kenyatta next year.

Raila Odinga and his team always preached about the climbing of the mountain with one time the four time presidential candidate saying that he had gotten a donkey to climb the mountains.

Today, after finishing his three days tour in the region where he met Nanyuki leadership and youths, the ODM party leader said that he will be hitting the ground in various stopovers and he has already started it with the stopover at Noru Moru in Meru county and has attracted a mammoth of crowd beyond what people expected of him to pull.

"Tuko Noru Moru. Join the conversation," Raila Odinga posted on his Facebook page.

Some of the leaders and mount Kenya Region residents attached and even mocked Raila Odinga of his inability to climb the mountain but now it seems the conversation is vise versa and now they might be back to drawing board.

As Raila Odinga is gradually strategizing on making mount Kenya Region his strong base, the deputy president William Ruto on the other hand has gone a step ahead and is now polishing his ties with the people from that area and trying to convince even more leaders from the mountain.

Is this the beginning of the real campaigns and will it affect the influence which the deputy president William Ruto has brought up in the country?
