According to photographs released by Kirinyaga governor Anne Waiguru, who is also the chairperson of the council of governors, she led a team of over 46 governors to a meeting with Bill Gates, a well-known philanthropist and billionaire.

The meeting takes place at a time when Kenya stands to benefit greatly from Bill Gates's plan to build his headquarters in Kenya. Gates met with President William Ruto a few days prior at the State House and expressed his intention to build his headquarters in Kenya.

Today, Governor Arati.
Today's meeting with governors included a discussion of how Kenya stands to benefit substantially from Bill Gates and his foundation's commitments in agriculture, health, and technology.

Governors James Orengo of Siaya, Simba Arati of Kisii, and Cecily Mbarire of Embu were among the governors present during the meeting, according to a post by Waiguru. The governors set aside their disagreements in order to serve the voters.
