Deputy president of the republic of Kenya Dr William Ruto has declared his presidential bid ahead of the 2022 polls in order to succeed president and Kenyatta who will retire from active politics come August next year after serving his two terms in office of five years each.
According to the source, the campaign strategy to be used by Dr William Ruto has been revealed. It's allegedly said that the DP will conduct regional forums across the country to discuss development blueprints.
Dr Ruto who is advocating for the bottom up economic model, will contest for the country's top seat on the United Democratic Alliance party.
In conclusion, according to political analysts, it has been predicted that the 2022 presidential race will be a two horse race between Dr William Ruto and Odm leader Raila Odinga.
