Today, the Azimio campaigns were taken to western region at Kakamega county for a series of political rallies at Idakho South ward in Ikolomani sub-county. Western region is the homeground of Musalia Mudavadi who is the kingpin of the region as well as the party leader of ANC which is an allied party to Ruto's Kenya Kwanza coalition. The team was led by Dr Brian Lishenga who is aspiring to be the governor of Kakamega county using Raila's ODM ticket. He was accompanied by a host of leaders from allied parties of Azimio One kenya coalition party as they sell their bids.
The team was accorded a heroic reception by hundreds of residents who turned out to grace their rally as they warmly receive them. They urged the residents to support Raila's presidential bid as they assure them that Raila's government will empower the vulnerable groups like women and youths from the region through creating employment opportunities for them. Dr Lishenga also rallied suppport for his bid as he promise to start an inclusive health care to all the residents.
