The Embakasi East member of parliament Babu Owino has thanked his voters for being lenient on him even after the shooting incident. Babu has said heaven is happy and residents of Embakasi East will never suffer under his watch.
Speaking directly through his social media account, Babu has asked the residents to turn out in large numbers and register as voters in the ongoing countrywide exercise.
According to him, he has already been re-elected as the Embakasi East legislator, a constituency in Nairobi with five electoral wards.
However, a section of Kenyans have revibrated Babu's shooting incident where he injured Dj Evolve. The fortuitous event tainted Babu's reputation and even a section of Kenyans were up in arms calling for his arrest.
And now, Babu seems to have moved on and the story slowly fading away. He even condoled with the family of Dj Evolve afterthe death of his mother, revealing she was a mother to him, and a friend. (Rest in Peace mum).
A section of Kenyans have reacted as follows after he has revealed to seek reelection in 2022;
Andrew Mutenyo Mps; "That shooting incident tainted your image Babu. I hope people forgive you, we all make mistakes. You're such a good leader, an inspirational to some of us, UoN alumni."
Hatari; "In a serious country sahi ungekuwa jela unapiganiwa na mashoga."
