The Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Movement came into existence towards the recently concluded hotly contested 2022 general elections which was narrowly and controversialy won by Kenya Kwanza Alliance of president William Samoei Arap Ruto. The Azimio was formed by several political parties including the Orange Democratic Movement party of Hon Raila Amolo Odinga, Jubilee Party, Wiper Kenya Democratic Movement party of Hon Kalonzo Musyoka, Senior Counsel Martha Karua's Nark Kenya party among other parties.
But the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Movement has been facing challenges ever since it lost while other politicians have left it for Kenya Kwanza Alliance. There is panic and tension in the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya after Hon Kalonzo Musyoka and his allies decided to demand for the following. According to the Daily Nation, the allies of Hon Kalonzo Musyoka have said that it is now their turn to lead the formation and have asked other political parties in the formation to support them. They have also said that time has come for Hon Kalonzo Musyoka to lead the formation.
