Ababu Namwamba, cabinet secretary for sports, culture and arts, paid a visit to Governor Fernandes Barasa of Kakamega today.

t the Governor's office, Governor Barasa and his county government officials enthusiastically greeted Cabinet Secretary Namwamba, who was accompanied by senior Ministry officials.
Kakamega county is famous in football, thus Cabinet Secretary Ababu and Governor Barasa talked about how to find and develop local talent.
Kakamega County's new governor, Barasa, pledged to keep the county's tradition of talent development alive and well.
Governor Barasa announced on Facebook that he had welcomed Ababu Namwamba, cabinet secretary for sports, heritage, and culture, to his office that morning.
"My administration would engage with national government to identify and foster talents inside Kakamega county," Governor Barasa remarked.
Innocent Mugabe, a lawmaker for the Likuyani constituency, and other county officials were also present.
Cabinet Secretary Namwamba has been touring the country to check on the condition of stadiums.
