lolWith political temperature in homabay gubaterial race increases in the county,so many politicians are coming out to replace the outgoing governor hon Awiti whose terms comes to an end in the next general elections.
Key interested leaders includes hon Evans Odhiambo Kidero former Nairobi governor.Kidero served as a one term governor in Nairobi county before he was defeated by hon Mike Sonko in last general elections.Hon kidero has therefore diverted his energy and strength to home county.
Another key leader in the race is former kasipul member of parliament and 2017 candidate in governorship race hon Joseph Oyugi Magwanga.Mangwanga who is coming from kasipul and enjoys much ground support needs a running mate most likely from Ndhiwa so as to have a command.
ODM chairman and Gwase member of parliament hon John Mbadi has also decleared his interest on the race. Mbadi who is seen to be enjoying the party support is believed to be having a upper chance in the race.
Now as much as Kenyan politics is concerned the system of politics is tribal hence political parties plays a major roll when electing leaders hence on the matter of who will be the governor will depend directly onto who the party will give the ticket to.
