News In:Ruto Speaks After Meeting Ayacko & Other Migori Leaders Shortly After The Governor's Request

Governor Ochilo Ayacko of the Migori County and other county officials who were present at President William Ruto's meeting with Homa Bay County officials on Friday will meet with him today.

Ayacko, who was there during the visit sponsored by Governor Gladys Wanga, pleaded with the president to take into account scheduling a private meeting with the Migori leaders who came up in order to discuss organizing a similar visitation in his county.

Ayacko continued by assuring the president that his county was prepared to collaborate with the Kenya Kwanza government, saying, "We have requested with the leaders from Migori County and who are here today that we have a private session with you so that we can arrange such a visitation in our county."

The president announced on Twitter that he had met the county executive, which seemed to have fulfilled Ayacko's request.

"In order to empower Migori County's economy and population, it is crucial to invest in infrastructure, mining, agriculture, and fishing. We appreciate the decision made by Governor Ochilo Ayacko and other leaders to collaborate with the federal government to boost these vital industries. The devolutionary mindset is this "He tweeted.

While stating that the county will cooperate with Ruto and his administration in Homa Bay, Wanga and Senator Moses Kajwang both reaffirmed their membership in the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance, which is led by the late former prime minister Raila Odinga.

In his remarks, Ruto promised the county's officials, the people of Homa Bay, and the entire nation that he would cooperate with everyone, regardless of how they had voted in the August elections.

A visit of Kisumu and Siaya counties is scheduled for Saturday while the president and the deputy president are in the Nyanza Region for two days.
