Machakos governor Dr. Alfred Mutua has questioned the ability of the Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga and Martha Karua to lead Kenya should the Azimio la Umoja coalition win the upcoming August general elections.
While speaking in Kinang'o, in Kwale county, Dr. Alfred Mutua revealed that he chose to join the Kenya Kwanza coalition because Deputy President Dr. William Samoei Ruto and his running mate Hon. Rigathi Gachagua young age. He said the duo is still energetic and they have the ability to lead and transform Kenya.
He also revealed that he summed up the age of DP Ruto and Rigathi Gachagua and came up with an average of 55 while on the other hand, while the average age of Raila Odinga and Martha Karua is 79. He said the duo are not capable of ruling Kenya they should be in retirement.
Alfred Mutua also accused Azimio la Umoja of shortchanging him. He said that decisions were being made by a few individuals in the government and the documents that they signed were frequently changed.
He urged Kwale residents to join the Kenya Kwanza coalition and vote for Deputy President Dr. William Samoei Ruto.
