Everyday Kenya's politics faces a very different shaping. With few months to the general election there is a looming mass exodus of politicians to certain political parties. With the cabinet expected to be dissolved in March, the much affected party could turn out to be Jubilee.

Jubilee party which is currently Kenya's leading party has had very many challenges that has seen its shaking up to a point where it can no longer boast of being a national party. It has been predicted that come March 2022 three quarters of the current members of Jubilee will have defected to either UDA or ODM. Sometimes back the deputy president hinted of having very secretive meetings with some of the current cabinet secretaries whom he said they fear losing their job and opted to be silent until when it is right for them to officially declare their support to the deputy president.
Despite that currently there is a sense of danger already, the recent case being a defection by Kirinyaga Governor Hon Ann Waiguru. Hon Waiguru has come out publicly and declared that indeed the people of mount Kenya were never interested in the BBI. The governor added that it is good for the mountain to reorganise itself and bargain as a block where the person to be supported most likely should allow for equal sharing. This in a lays man language can be paraphrased as the region producing a deputy head of state.

Although Waiguru has been on record championing the sentiments of 'you can only rent a kikuyu but not buy one', it now seems its time she swallows her pride and goes as per what the residents of mount Kenya want. Recently the Jubilee team has been trying to sell Raila's candidature to the region but unfortunately it seems that many of them are not that interested. Another case is of Cherangany Mp Joshua Kutuny. The Mp recently hinted of possibilities of working with Ruto come 2022. Such scenarios can clearly tell that indeed the Jubilee party is on its dead bed.
