The kakamega senator Cleophas Malala was in Kabuchai constituency where he was campaigning for the Ford Kenya candidate Simiyu Majimbo Kalasinga. He has told the locals that it was necessary to demonstrate their love for Ford Kenya Party leader Moses Wetangula by considering his choice for Kabuchai parliamentary seat.
In his address to the residents, Malala pointed out that Kabuchai was blessed to have a sober leader who had a good manifesto for the Kabuchai people. He urged them to back him for the seat as he had the best qualifications to succeed the late member of Parliament.
He also lashed at the presidential aspirant Mukhisa Kituyi who he said was a project for some influential leaders who had sensed that the ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi was going to easily win and occupy state house owing to the huge support he is currently enjoying across the country.
He asked Mukhisa not to allow to be used as this time was the right time for mulembe nation to lead the country. He asked him to consider vying for an MCA seat to gauge whether he had any political influence in the larger western region.
He also told him that he was not at the same level with him politically and thus going for a higher seat of presidency was a big joke. He asked him to stop creating confusion to Mulembe bation.
