murang'a Set To Make A Declaration On Raila's Presidency

The Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Amollo Odinga is today touring the vast Murang'a County in a charm offensive. He is expected to continue championing his Azimio la umoja Movement to the people of the mountain. Ahead of the visit to the county, the people and leaders from the county that is considered the cradle of the Kikuyu community have come up to declare that Raila should be the the next president of Kenya.

The locals have been carrying placards showing that Raila is much acceptable in the region. Speaking at the event at the Ihura stadium, Kiharu Member of Parliament Kiama muturi from Kiharu has expressed his optimism and total support to Raila's Presidential bid and him eventually becoming the next president.

"We are here today to make a declaration to all Kenyans and the whole World that Raila Amollo Odinga is our president. Having successfully climbed the mountain, Raila is totally accepted and will become our president", said Kiama. The event will also see a memorandum of understanding delivered to Raila Odinga which according to the Kiharu Member of Parliament is holding the interests of all the Kikuyu people. 

He also express his optimism on Peter Kenneth eventually becoming Raila's running mate saying that Peter Kenneth has been Raila's deputy all along and that it will be a kind gesture from the Orange Democratic Movement party leader.
