The Head of State President Uhuru Kenyatta has been keen in choosing his 2022 successor with barely less than 8 months remaining to the highly contested polls.
Following his fallout with deputy president William Ruto, Uhuru joined forces with the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga to unite Kenyans and steer the economy forward, a move that has led to a tremendous launch and completion of government projects. Photo: Courtesy
According to the information provided by various news outlets, president Uhuru invited his loyalist and he is expected to host pro-handshake and Azimio La Umoja MPs at a State House Luncheon today. Unfortunately, Tangatanga MPs allied to William Ruto were not invited to the high profile meeting prompting some of them to complain and rant in various social media platforms. Millicent Omanga who is a strong and vocal Tangatanga nominated member of parliament has complained on his Facebook page attracting criticism from pro-handshake crusaders. Taking to her Facebook page, this is what she wrote causing a stir:
"Pro-handshake Mps have been invited by the president for a luncheon at statehouse today. Sisi hustlers tumeambiwa kila mtoto acheze kwa mlango yao. As for the agenda of the meeting, your guess is in sync with mine."
