Jubilee party has of late had issues within it's core governance. We have just witnessed some changes being made in the party that later led to fights within the political party. Big names including DP William Ruto, Tuju, David Murathe, president Uhuru Kenyatta making headlines in that saga.
Speaking at K24 TV's Punchline, Uasin Gishu woman representative Gladys Boss Sholei claims that, since the handshake between Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader Raila Odinga, Jubilee party started to have issues.
"I know that the problems within Jubilee started with the handshake. But even ODM and Wiper have internal wrangles from time to time. Because of this issue, I have studied the Jubilee Constitution and realised that there is no position for a vice-chairman," Sholei stated.
She further insisted that they cannot allow one man to destroy the Jubilee party. Concerning DP Ruto's influence in the rift valley, Sholei insisted Ruto has the support of people from rift valley and that she believes Ruto has never lost a fight.
"We have been supporting Jubilee with our subscriptions. We cannot allow one man to kick us out. We cannot be kicked out of Jubilee without a fight. We have invested in the party, we campaigned twice for the Jubilee. The people of Rift Valley are resilient and they trust the Deputy President. He has never lost a fight. As a young person, he felled giants," Gladys posed.
