DP Ruto Take The Lead From IEBC Tallying And Verified Votes

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission is working incredibly hard to meet the Monday deadline as the Presidential results are currently the buzz of the nation.

The chairman, Wafula Chebukati, will verify the results and tally them for presidential candidates. The commission began verifying results from constituency Returning Officers who are submitting the original copies of the form 34A and 34B to him.

At 6:30 AM on Sunday, the commission had tallied 7,140,101 votes from 141 of 291 constituencies. William Ruto of Kenya Kwanza is leading Raila Odinga by a margin of 51.27%, or 3,660,876 votes, to 48.07%, or 3,432,504 votes, according to the results of the vote count.

As of 7:40 a.m., 99.95% of form 34A and 93.13% of form 34B have been uploaded to the IEBC's portal. Both the Azimio-OKA Coalition Party and Kenya Kwanza anticipate winning the general elections, therefore a fierce struggle is anticipated as counting nears its conclusion.
