Seasoned lawyer Cliff Ombeta has finally broke the silence over alleged rumours of him contesting for the Bonchari seat in 2022. Cliff Ombeta has now declared that he will be going for the seat with a United Democratic alliance ticket [UDA]. This follows after the lawyer publicly declared himself as a member of the United Democratic alliance party late april this year. Ombeta will be competing Pavel Oimeke in the 2022 general elections . As evident enough, Cliff will have to fight tooth and nail to bring the defeat home with an UDA ticket following their loss to ODM in the Bonchari by-election. The Bonchari by-election was held mid this year following the death of John Oroo Oiyoka early this year. The fallen hero breathed his last on the Monday night of fifteenth February this year after a short illness creating room for fresh elections in Bonchari. UDA lost to ODM in the by-election but lets keep waiting, maybe Ombeta could make things turn around and the spirit of UDA prevail over the land of Bonchari after the 2022 general elections.
