The National Majority Leader Kimani Ichungwa disclosed during his appearance before the National Assembly that several people were involved in stealing Sh 61 billion that was intended to be utilised by the former president Uhuru Kenyatta to purchase stock in the telco company Telkom.
Kimani Ichungwa claimed that, but he avoided naming the individuals who were a part in the scam.
Ledama Ole Kina, a senator from Narok County, has blasted off his plans to expose those involved by calling him a hypocrite and demanding that he name those who were involved instead. Ichungwa has been questioned by Ole Kina about why he stayed anonymous during the debate.
"Wholly hypocritical! How often do we have to hear this nonsense? Why don't you just name them in front of the legislature, or are you hoping they'll pay you $2 million to stop talking? If you love Kenya, stop crying wolf at @KIMANIICHUNGWAH and give them names! ", as stated in a statement by Ledama. Abel Kina
