If there is a person that stole the show in the Kenya Kwanza rally in Nakuru, it is young Dorine Cheptoo. When Ruto arrived in the area, she was ready with a lovely encouragement poem she had specifically prepared for the second in command. Her confidence could be seen from the manner in which she addressed the Deputy President without any fear.
In her poem, she asked Ruto not to allow his enemies win. She also told Ruto to stay strong no matter how bad he is abused by his opponents. What amazed Ruto most was when Cheptoo referred to him as her next president to be.
"Dr Samoei Ruto may I tell you this, some people can knock you by words, actions and silence but no matter how it hurts don't let your enemy win. May God give you strength and the capacity to overcome your enemies," Cheptoo said while standing on Ruto's vehicle.
