Kenya is among the countries which are good at peace making but the 2007-8 post election violence left this country with a scar that will never be forgotten easily. The most affected and hit hard County was Nakuru and generally Rifty Valley. People lost there lives and many were displaced. Those who were directly affected some of them have not healed upto date.
The political tension and temperetures are shooting high as most political leaders are getting head on as exchange of bitter words rule the air. The Hustler verses Dynasties narrative is not going well and things are worsening. President Uhuru Kenyatta and Hon Raila Odinga have been trying hard to make sure that the country is united ahead of 2022 presidential elections. Different allies from various camps are preparing to lock horns to grab political seats that will be vacated. As the scramble and petition continues NCIC has mapped out regions that could act as hotpots for political violence in 2022 and this is what they had to say,
"@NCIC_Kenya has mapped out five major towns as possible hotspots for violence during the 2022 election campaigns period: Nairobi, Kisumu, Eldoret, Mombasa and Nakuru. Source/Daily Nation
