As new governors are trying to fight back the heavy depts they inherited from their predecessors, the Kisii county ODM governor, Simba Arati, has now decided to use a new strategy to shift the county's dept blame to his predecessor, ex-governor Ongwai.

While delivering his speech during the state of county address in Gusii stadium, Governor Simba Arati erected a projector as he publicly showed Kisii residents all the stalled projects whose funds were embezzled during the regime of his predecessor.
Simba Arati showed Kisii residents all the stalled projects starting from uncompleted stadiums to unfinished roads.

While delivering his speech about the state of Kisii county, Arati hitted back at his predecessor for ruining the county affairs during his tenure. Arati went on to promise Kisii residents that all embezzled funds from the previous county regime will be returned.
Arati noted that he will be working with government investigators to trace down all those who misused Kisii county funds.
