Kakamega Deputy Governor In Consultative Meeting With Hospital Representatives

Kakamega deputy Governor H.E Prof Philip Kutima has organized a consultative meeting with Mediheal Hospital representative as the hospital plans to open its branch in Kakamega town.

In a talk show interview with the representatives, he noted that the branch will play a great role to the people of Kakamega and Kenya at large adding that quality healthcare services will be able to be provided to each individual.

"The establishment of the hospital will reduce the cost of people traveling to Eldoret and other parts of the country to seek specialized medical services and thereby fully welcome the Mediheal group in Opening up their branch in Kakamega. For instance, Am proud that there will also be an expansion of job opportunities to our trained medical students", Kakamega deputy governor noted.

Similarly, he explained that the County Government is also committed to ensuring that there are improved and better health services.

"We have invested a lot of resources in the health sector to ensure our people get quality and standard medical services," went on Prof.Kutima.

As that prevails in the atmosphere, Madam Dorcas Saina, Business Development Manager at Mediheal Hospital assured the county government of Kakamega that the hospital has finalized all plans and they will soon open the branch.

"The branch to be opened in Kakamega will offer most of our services especially outpatient. In the future we plan to construct a bigger and modern hospital in the County," said Madam Saina.

Consequently, she appreciated the County for the opportunity saying they look for a more robust partnership so as to continue helping counties.

Kakamega CECM for health services Dr. Collins Matemba, County Attorney, Mr. Musa Chibole acting Chief of Staff and Mr. Luke Otipo administrator in the office of the Deputy Governor appreciated the representatives for considering Kakamega county promising to work with them fully.
