A recent report by Intel Research Poll has put Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate William Ruto ahead of his Azimio-One Kenya presidential candidate Raila Odinga by a 7 plus percent margin.
In the Tuesday July 5 release, the research organization gave Raila Odinga a 42.5 percent popularity. Roots Party of Kenya presidential candidate George Wajackoyah comes third with 2.8 percent while Agano Party candidate David Mwaure had 1.1 percent.
Among those interviewed during the research period, 3.7 percent said they were undecided on who was their most popular presidential candidate.
The results could gear up the spirit of the Kenya Kwanza supporters despite their recent condemnation of opinion polls terming them to be misleading and biased.
The opinion poll results are still being announced at a live conference in Nairobi and more details are to follow.
