"2022 Is Sealed" Dr. Akombe Reacts To The Appointment Of Chiloba At The CA, Makes Fresh Allegations

The appointment of former Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission chief executive officer Ezra chiloba as the Director General of the Communication Authority Of Kenya has elicited mixed reactions among politicians and Kenyans with many arguing that it is a scheme to manipulate the forthcoming general elections.

With Chiloba being the face behind controversies at the electoral body in 2017 when the presidential election was nullified, many feel that he could be used to influence the outcome of the next general elections.

Former IEBC commissioner, Roselyn Akombe, who served with Chiloba, while weighing in on the matter has said that the appointment of the new CA-K Director General had sealed the 2022 elections.

Akombe has alleged how the Authority works to manipulate the election as all the communications first come from it then to the electronic vote transmitters.

"The tactics of repression are chilling but what I found fascinating is how they use lobbying/PR firms to project an image of democracy, development, stability and good governance," Akombe further alleged.
