His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta was today in Lamu County where he was presiding over a critical event refered to as the Presidential and Regimental Colour Ceremony that was being conducted at the Kenya Navy Base, Manda Bay.
The event turned out to be a successful one as different stakeholders from the military department joined him throughout the processes involved.
Upon being given a chance to address Kenyans, President Kenyatta made crucial announcements on various key issues affecting the country be it positively or negatively were while shading more light to all Kenyans about what it entails for Kenya to continue prospering.
However, part of his Speech gave rise to controversial details after he told Kenyans that the country's safety, freedom and prosperity does not only depend on the State's Machinery as it may be perceived by most people, but also from all citizens at large.
With that, it should now be established that it takes a collective responsibility and cooperation between all citizens in the country and the sovereign government of Kenya especially the security agencies to bring about solutions to all problems affecting us particularly the multifaceted nature of the security challenges.
President Uhuru's revelation should now be and eye opener to everyone to rise up and input their respective energies to protect the country, resolve conflicts, administer justice and preach peace for the prosperity of the country. Meanwhile, Kenyans have elicited mixed reactions online as they appreciate his massive efforts to bring to Kenyans the best leadership.
