The President William Ruto has graced Embakasi where the 58th Administration Police pass out event is taking place. He has been accompanied by the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure kindiki and the Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja.
The President was welcomed by the Inspector General Japhet Koome and later he planted a tree so as to mark the 58th Administration Police pass out event.
A large number of officers are scheduled to graduate from the Administration Police Training College.This is the second lot of Police that the President will preside over. On Tuesday President Ruto presided over the police recruits at the National Police Main College at Kiganjo.
In his speech he stated that the government has sustained the commitment to escalate the police to citizen ratio by recruiting and training more men and women on a continuous basis to ensure that Kenyans have access to responsive and effective police protection throughout the country.
