"Rescue Me from Azimio" Tiaty KANU MP tells "Rescue Me from Azimio" Tiaty KANU MP tells the house he is a member of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance.

During the National Assembly's first sitting, there was discussion on which party formation, President William Ruto's Kenya Kwanza Alliance or Raila Odinga's Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance, has the majority.

Leaders in Azimio camp argued that they are the majority as far as the agreement submitted to the Registrar of Political Parties is concerned, while those in KKA claim they have the majority upon receiving defectors from Azimio, and even based on the Standing Orders, since Azimio as a coalition political party do not have a single MP.

While making his submission on the issue, Tiaty member of parliament William Kamket, and who jumped from Azimio to KKA after the August 9th elections said that he cannot be forced to remain in Azimio.

In his remarks, the KANU MP begged Speaker Moses Wetangula to "give" him peace and to make decisions based on the statistics, which now favor the KKA side.
