President William ruto together with his predecessor are currently attending a joint meeting which has been called upon by the African Union to discuss matters of continent importance promoting peace and stability in the border between Congo and Kenya.

This is the first encounter that the former president is having with his former deputy who doubles up now as the president and since the swearing-in and the exchange of power that happened a few weeks ago that so William ruto become the next president.
Former president Uhuru on his part revealing details of what he witnessed atKivu together with some parts of the Democratic of Republic of Congo when he toured the region's to ascertain the situation in the same country.
Roto has Congratulated and praised the former head of state for his winglingness to ensure that peace and stability returns to Congo.
