ODM leader Raila Odinga has appointed former Kenya Revenue Authority Domestic Taxes Depaetment boss Elizabeth Meyo and current IMF consultant Elizabeth meyo for the position if campaign CEO nad secretary to the board.
This announcement was made by Raila Odinga has he continues laying strategies for his 2022 general elections ambitions where he will be vying for the presidential seat using ODM ticket.
The board of the Raila Odinga 2022 Campaign is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Elizabeth Meyo as CEO of the campaign and secretary to the board," said in a statement.
Mrs Meyo is currently working as the consultant for IMF and she steered the committee that oversaw the appointment of IEBC commissions.
Raila described Governor Nderitu as a man who has enough administrative experience.
"The Governor of Laikipia, H.E. Hon Ndiritu Muriithi, has been nominated and accepted to become chair of the board of the Raila Odinga 2022 Campaign," said the ODM leader in the statement.
"An economist and financial markets expert, Governor Muriithi, has over 29 years’ experience in leadership and management in Kenya, South Africa, Canada and Australia. Governor Murithi was instrumental in the drive to have the derelict Nairobi-Nanyuki and Gilgil-Nyahururu railway lines rehabilitated."
