Deputy President William Ruto is a master tactician. The move to visit different counties is a masterstroke which was not expected by his competitors. Dr Ruto and his allies were in Kakamega today to popularize his Bottom-up economic model which has been well receive by most of the places he has visited.
The second in command has so far visited several counties and his name is now imprinted in peoples' hearts. When he landed in Kakamega County, thousands of residents had lined up to receive him and when he arrive, he was received like a king. There was cheers all over and the people had wore yellow t-shirts which is the colours of UDA Party. Some were in possession of wheelbarrows.
When the Deputy President took the the podium to address the mammoth crowd, cheers rented the air for sometime. He went ahead to greet them in their local language and the people were more tan elated. The DP went ahead to ask them what his competitors had done for them since they took office. He articulated the development programs the Jubilee government had done in the area since they took over in 2013.
