The ODM campaigns were taken to Western region in Kakamega county which is the homeground of Musalia Mudavadi who doubles up as the kingpin of the region as well as the party leader of ANC. Mudavadi's ANC is an allied party to Ruto's Kenya Kwanza coalition. Dr Brian Lishenga who is aspiring to be the senator of kakamega county using Raila's ODM ticket led the team for a series of political rallies at Isukha North in Shinyalu constituency. He was accompanied by a host of leaders as they sell the Azimio gospel to the residents.
The team was warmly received by hundreds of residents who turned out to grace their rally. Brian Lishenga drummed up support for his bid to be the 3rd senator of kakamega county as he assured the residents that he will provide a universal health care to all the residents irrespective of their economic status. He also rallied support for the Raila's presidential bid as he assures them that Raila's government will empower the youths and women from the region through creating employment opportunities for them.
