Today, President William Samoei Ruto will be witnessing the grand lounge of Safaricom Branch in Ethiopia. The private limited company is one of the largest telecommunications firms in East Africa with over 35 million subscribers in Kenya.
Among the leaders who were seeing off the President as he was travelling to Ethiopia include his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua, Defence CS appointee Aden Duale and Foreign Affairs CS appointee Alfred Mutua. Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Kibochi was also present at the airport. According to a post shared by Kenyans.co.ke on Facebook, netizens reacted after former Aide Camp (ADC) Timothy Lekolool was spotted in company of the President to Ethiopia.
ADC Lekolool was serving former President Uhuru Kenyatta during his reign and was recently deployed to the Department of Defence as the Brigadier and replaced by colonel Fabian Lengusuranga.
