Former Kakamega County governor Wycliffe Oparanya has broken his silence and went on to give his own side of the story concerning the Cherera four commissioners risk removal from their office.
Oparanya has accused the current government leaders in higher office of planning a revenge mission against the commissioners wondering what will happen next if they succeed.
"These independent institutions were created for a purpose. But when you come in and you want to revenge this is not good for this country trying to revenge. By removing these people assuming they are successful then what happens?," said Oparanya.

He has further narrated that if President Ruto's administration removes the four embattled commissioners from office and replaces them with their own, we will have some individuals who will feel they have been treated unfairly during elections.
"If you put your own people you're now like the a player and the referee. Some people will feel like we are not being treated fairly when it comes to election," added Oparanya.
