Nyandarua Governor Hon Francis Kimemia, who is among the top critics to Deputy President Dr William Ruto, has blasted him again saying that he does not understand his narrative of bottom-up economic model, as he also reveals what the second in command is expected to as he campaigns in Mt Kenya region ahead of 2022.
Speaking on an interview with TV47, Kimemia said that Deputy President is allowed to continue going to Mt Kenya region to look for presidential votes just like other presidential aspirants, but they are expecting him to show great respect to his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Kimemia argued that Ruto has not been showing respect to President Uhuru Kenyatta, since the handshake between the president and the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga, he has openly disrespected the President by campaigning as he is still in government. Therefore he should show respect to the president who hails from the Mt Kenya region as he looks for votes there.
