Macharia who has in recent days been a key pillar in Raila Odinga’s campaigns and funding could visibly be spotted in Uhuru Kenyatta’s function in Sagan which was attended by among others Ann Waiguru and Ngirici. From the photos shared online by the statehouse, several leaders from the region were present at the event.

The said tycoon has been instrumental in several meetings that have taken place in recent days including one that happened in Safari Park where several leaders openly endorsed Raila Odinga in his 2022 bid ahead of next year’s elections.
Uhuru has been seen to endorse a Raila Odinga candidature although it is yet to be made public by the head of state himself. He however hinted while in Kibra recently that his choice could be Raila Odinga. The meeting is in preparation for a nationwide event expected in two days.
