Irony as DP Ruto Wonders over Increased Fuel Prices in Kenya Than Uganda

Deputy president of Kenya, Dr. William Ruto is one of the most known famous politicians in Kenya. He is better known as "Hustler Nation" by his supporters.

Ruto is among the politicians who have come out to vie for presidency in the coming 2022 general elections. Currently, he is carrying out campaigns in different parts of the country.

The second in command, in collaboration with the president of Kenya, his excellency Uhuru Mwigai Kenyatta, works tirelessly day and night to ensure that essential services are offered to the Kenyans who elected them in the year 2017.

However, Kenyans have been shocked after DP Ruto claimed that the sudden increase in the prices of fuel in Kenya than in Uganda has shocked him.

Uganda is a landlocked country that depends on Kenya for petroleum and petroleum products. This crude oil is ferried from the middle East to Mombasa port through the Indian Ocean. It's then taken to Changamwe for refinery. In the process, part of the oil is distributed to Uganda.

It is an irony that a top political leader is the one questioning why fuel prices are higher in Kenya than in Uganda when they are the ones heading the government. Surely, does this really make sense?
