The Azimio team pitched tents in Nyeri County to hunt for votes and drum support for Raila Odinga and Martha Karua ahead of the 9th August General Election.
The Azimio presidential candidate Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga and his running mate Mama Martha Karua led the Azimio brigade with several Azimio bigwigs in the region gracing the campaign trail. However, Raila's team faced a small setback after some UDA fanatics got carried away of their political inclination and started singing for Rigathi Gachagua and chanting Kenya Kwanza slogans.
The popular bouncer Billy Arocho Otunga (Uhuru Kenyatta's longest serving bodyguard) has elicited mixed reactions after sharing a photo with Kiruga Thuku who is a UDA fanatic. The UDA ally who is eying an MCA seat was spotted wearing clothes branded in yellow UDA colours despite being in the midst of his Azimio friends. Otunga revealed that they were former party mates in the Jubilee camp. After sharing the photo in his Facebook page, Kenyans across both sides of the political divide have dropped comments eliciting mixed reactions. Here are some comments below.
