Recently, the Judicial Service Commission (JS), under the direction of Chief Justice Martha Koome, conducted widely publicized interviews with legal experts in order to fill positions as Judges of the Court of Appeal, a court that has been severely impacted by a backlog of cases.

And just now, Chief Justice Martha Koome has sent a letter to President Uhuru Kenyatta proposing seven individuals for appointment as judges on the court of appeal.

The seven individuals appointed to the court are Justices Luká Kimáru, Gachoki аul Mwаniki, Chóde Lydia, George Ndaga, Johann Matio Mutinga, Grace Wangui, and Justice bida.

"Judges Luka Kimaru and Lydia Chode are among the seven individuals recommended by JS for the position of Supreme Court Appeal Judge; names have been forwarded to President Kenya for an appointment," Citizen TV similarly affirmed on their social media handles.

Housing appointments have caught the attention of city attorney Ahmednasir Abdullahi, who has come out to launch protests against chief justice Martha Koome.

According to Ahmednasir, the Judicial Service Commission performed a fantastic job, and the appointees deserve their new positions.
