Wiper NDC Attracts Leaders From All Political Parties Across The Country

At the Kasarani Gymnasium, the Wiper National Delegates Convention has begun, with party leader Kalonzo Musyoka anticipated to be endorsed as the presidential flag bearer. Approximately 6,000 delegates have already gathered at the auditorium, with more expected to arrive for Kalonzo's special day.

Kalonzo's One Kenya Alliance co-principals Musalia Mudavadi (ANC), Gideon Moi (Kanu), Moses Wetangula (Ford Kenya), and Cyrus Jirongo are all anticipated to join the Wiper NDC. Raila Odinga, the leader of the Kenyan opposition and the ODM, is slated to attend also.

Kalonzo has called a large jamboree with delegates from all 1,450 wards around the country, as he prepares for a second run for the presidency next year.

As part of Kalonzo's aim to discover and nurture future leaders, the party has invited chosen university students for the first time.

The gymnasium is presently filled to capacity with delegates wearing blue caps, T-shirts, and Wiper branded attire, and entertainment is also begun.

The Wiper National Executive Committee has also made significant changes to the party's leadership, which will be validated by the NDC. The former vice president is largely expected to obtain approval to fly the Wiper presidential banner from delegates picked from all 1,450 wards across the country.
