Raila Amollo Odinga of Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance has finally addressed the nation after he lost the presidential seat to William Somoei Ruto. Raila emerged second with 6,942,930 votes which is 48.85%. William Ruto won the presidential seat with 7,176,141 votes which is 50.49%.
Speaking about the results as announced by Chebukati, Raila has totally rejected them. He has echoed the move from the four IEBC commissioners who disowned the results as well. He has termed them as heroes and patriotic citizens.
The figures announced by Chebukati are null and avoid" Raila has said. He has said that the process used to come up with the results was not transparent. He has accused Wafula Chebukati for manipulating the results. He has termed him as a dictator as he refused to listen to the other four commissioners. He says that Wafula destroyed the democracy of our country.
Revealing on Azimio next move, he has said that they will purse the legal options available. That is challenging the results in supreme court. He is confident that they will win this case in court.
