Meet The 2 Main Politicians In Homabay County Seeking To Replace Cyprian Awiti As Governor.
The race for Homabay county Gubernatorial seat could be a very tough one come 2022 and even as a we speak now, the race is very tight there as the two main contenders of the seat are up and on their arms to make sure that they win the people's hearts to give them votes come 2022.
Since the year 2021 began, we have been witnessing higly charged politicians in Homabay county seeking to replace the outgoing governor Cyprian Achilaus Otieno Awiti who is currently serving his second and final term after he was elected in 2013 and then re-elected in 2017.
These two main politicians are the former Nairobi Governor Dr Evan's Kidero who now wants to the up the seat of Homabay Governor and his other main challenger is the former Kasipul Kabondo member of parliament Hon Oyugi Magwanga who have always been so much vocal too and in 2017, he emerged as number two behind Awiti.
There are other several candidates too who had already expressed their interest to run for the hotly constested seat.
