While addressing mourners in Oroo's home, Governor Ongwae told the people that he did not believe that Oroo had died when he heard about his death. He talked on how they had met with Oroo while he was the head of TSC.
He also added that Oroo was a polite man who could not disturb anyone, apart from being a politician Oroo was also a teacher by profession. Oroo was a member of parliament in Bonchari and operated under governor Ongwae. His death, is a loss to all Kisii people. This comes after they had just buried another key politician from the region.
I would like to take this chance to thank Oroo for the good work he had while he was an Member of Parliament. For now Itake this chance to request everyone to pray to the family so that they get the strength to overcome what they are going through now.
