Top politicians have been going across the country and to various regions seeking support from the locals in their bid for the country's top seat.The leading candidates for next year's general election is deputy president William Ruto and former prime minister Raila Odinga.
The former prime minister was in Nyamira county for a fundraiser for Mwongori high school to build a dormitory.The former premier was accompanied by top leaders including CS Mutahi Kagwe, CS Eugine Wamalwa and other top leaders from the region including CS Fred Matiangi.
Speaking in Mwongori High school in Borabu Constituency, Nyamira county, Matiangi vowed to support Raila in his bid for presidency and work towards achieving the goals of the handshake between Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga.
