Deputy President William Ruto has today welcomed Kiambu County former governor Ferdinand Waititu who has been facing some rejection from Uhuru's Kieleweke Camp.
In his today's appearance in public for the nation address through the media press, he has as well been seen with the former Governor at his residential home in Karen where he use to host various politicians about his 2022 political bid.
Even though Ferdinand Waititu holds no government office in the country right now and is most unlikely to do so even in future after his impeachment as the Kiambu County governor, he still has much influence in Mount Kenya region and his inclusion at DP Ruto's Hustler Nation is just a major boost to him in his plans to capture Mount Kenya Region ahead of 2022 top political race.
Right now, the DP seems to be getting along with the people of Mount Kenya who seem to be deflecting their minds for their current political kingpin Uhuru Kenyatta after the handshake deal with the ODM party leader Raila Odinga.
Thanks to young energetic and top influential leaders like Moses Kuria, Ndidi Nyoro, Irungu Kang'ata, Kimani Ichung'wah and many others who are hitting the ground hard to ensure he even gets more popular that Uhuru himself.
And now that he has Ferdinand Waititu by his side, he is now likely to capture Kiambu County which always has a large number of voters from the region and this is indeed a boost for him.
